Triple Canopy is pleased to announce the publication of Headless, an exhilarating murder-mystery by the elusive K. D. The novel probes the sordid secrets and sinister deeds of powerful financiers who use Caribbean firms to conceal their fortunes. On May 13, Triple Canopy will host Paradise Bought, a reading and conversation with Katie Kitamura, Jill Magid, Joseph O’Neill, and Mary Poovey, to celebrate the publication of Headless. Launch events in Paris, Stockholm, London, Berlin, and Istanbul will take place in the following weeks and months.
On May 20, Tensta Konsthall, in Stockholm, will host a conversation with author and poet Mara Lee and historian Rasmus Fleischer, moderated by Maria Lind, the museum’s curator and director. (The event is accessible only by invitation.) On May 26, Open School East, in London, will host a reading and conversation with author Ned Beauman, scholar Nicky Marsh, and economic geographer Angus Cameron, moderated by researcher and curator Andrea Phillips (location to be announced shortly). On My 28, Kadist Art Foundation will host an event with artist Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster and curator Sandra Terdjman at the bookshop Le Monte-en-l’air.
