The Campaign to Fund TC 3.0 Is an Epic Win!

Dear readers,

We’re pleased to announce that Refresh, Triple Canopy’s capital campaign to support our new publishing platform—TC 3.0—reached its successful conclusion on July 1st. With the generous support of our Board of Directors, Publishers Circle, and more than 120 individuals, Triple Canopy raised more than $100,000. Building on this incredible show of support, the Brown Foundation, Inc. of Houston has pledged an additional $20,000 to help produce new artistic and literary projects that will appear in the three issues of the magazine to begin publication this fall.

As a reader, your support of TC 3.0 underscores the importance of Triple Canopy’s sustainable evolution. Our redefinition of Triple Canopy under 3.0 follows eighteen months of intensive research, lengthy meetings, and edifying conversations between editors, designers, technologists, and many friends. As we continue our fifth year, Triple Canopy shifts from being an online magazine to being a magazine with an online hub that effectively incorporates publishing activities that take place on the Web, in print, and in person, connects their respective audiences, and illuminates the conceptual coherence that distinguishes our work.

With TC 3.0 set to launch in October, our busy summer continues. We’re currently working on live programs and new digital projects to be published in the coming months, and also editing print publications, among them the third volume of Invalid Format: An Anthology of Triple Canopy. If you missed the opportunity to contribute to Refresh, there’s still time to support the evolution of Triple Canopy. Make a contribution or become a member today and join a community of readers who support independent arts publishing.

Again, we thank all those who contributed to Refresh for their generosity and look forward to celebrating the launch of TC 3.0 this fall!

With gratitude,
The Editors
