Adaptation after Metalogue (Part 2)
Boru O’Brien O’Connell

A digital project, part of Text to Speech, Active Rot
  • Boru O’Brien O’Connell is an artist based in New York. He uses video, film, photography, writing, and sculpture to work within a wide range of venues, media, and collaboration. Upcoming and ongoing projects include an installation for “Works Sited,” a program at the Los Angeles Central Public Library curated by Olivien Cha, and a residency at EMPAC (Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute, NY). His first solo exhibition in New York will take place at the Kitchen in January, 2014.
“Adaptation after Metalogue” was published as part of Triple Canopy’s Internet as Material project area, which receives support from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, the Brown Foundation, Inc., of Houston, the Lambent Foundation Fund of Tides Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and the New York State Council on the Arts. Boru O'Brien O'Connell gratefully acknowledges the support of the Lighthouse Works fellowship program.
