Lucy Raven
is an artist who works with animation, installation, sound, and the live format of the illustrated lecture. Her films and installations have been shown internationally, most recently in solo exhibitions at the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York; Portikus, Frankfurt; and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco. She is cofounder, with Victoria Brooks and Evan Calder Williams, of Thirteen Black Cats, a research and production collective. She currently lives and works in New York and teaches at Cooper Union and the School of Visual Arts.
