James Merle Thomas
is a San Francisco–based writer, editor, and curator. He is currently completing a dissertation in the Department of Art History at Stanford, where he researches intersections between art, science, and politics of the cold war. He was the 2011–12 Guggenheim Predoctoral Fellow at the National Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian Institution.

Meghan O’Hara
is a San Francisco-based filmmaker who holds an MFA in documentary production from Stanford University. Her current work focuses on the contemporary relevance of representations of the cold war. Along with Mike Attie, she is in production on a documentary that follows a group of Vietnam War reenactors, many of whom are veterans of recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
